Somewhere...
Times are changing fast in this world. Technology is rapidly advancing, and civilization is growing to even the most remote of places. Still, there is much adventure to be had out there before life settles into a quiet monotony.
Enter Morgan, a young and ambitious traveler once part of a successful group.
Morgan was the last member of a party of five, and acted as the group's dedicated healer. During a difficult expedition she, in a moment of hesitation, caused the death of three of her allies. The two survivors felt that without the others, things just wouldn't be the same, and both agreed to part ways.
She continued exploring the land, offering her aid to any other unfortunate adventurers she might run into. No repayment was ever needed. Though these encounters were scarce, the presence of some company always reminded her of the old days, and that was all she needed to keep her going.
A random new character! I had this idea cooking in my head for a while, and felt like I had to get it out there somehow. There is a bit of a new universe and lore building going on in the background but I guess with how ambiguous the world and character is you could consider this an "OC", though I feel like in this community the term is pretty much synonymous with "Self-insert". Part of the idea behind this character was to see if I could make a healer-type character fit into [Madness Community Meta Universe] where there really isn't any attention given to anything outside murder. An actual movie with this focus would show if any of this works in practice, but I think its definitely doable.
As posted above, the sprites are freely available in their typical raw and messy state. I also included a set of standard weapons for the setting. Aside from hands and weapons (may scale weirdly with madness characters) they unfortunately aren't really compatible with the usual madness stuff. I'm sorry about the mess I leave in my sheets. I left them in because I hoped people could learn something about the process and hopefully go on to draw their own stuff, but I think the demographic of people who actually need any of this stuff have zero interest in ever touching the line tool.
Here is a look at the weapons I included, even though I know you've already downloaded it and won't ever touch the file ever again.
Cool stuff, some lore, some sprites. Thank you, come again.
